Hosting the first ever search for the 2024 GOOD Ambassador

CABANATUAN CITY, NUEVA ECIJA— In a vibrant and festive conclusion to the year 2024, GMBank™ hosted its inaugural pageant-themed year-end celebration at the La Benue Center of Events on December 13, 2024.

The event brought together employees from diverse branches and departments under the engaging theme, “The Search for the GOOD Ambassador,” marking a historic milestone as the bank’s first centralized gathering that included candidates from various locations within the institution.

Representatives from the GMBank Head Office, encompassing the Office Mezannine and the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors, along with the Internal Audit Department, participated in the highly anticipated program. Branches from San Jose City, Cabanatuan City, Porac, Lupao, and Cuyapo also contributed to the lively atmosphere, showcasing a spirit of camaraderie and collaboration amongst employees.

Each participant took part in three main segments: the Uniform Wear segment highlighted their ability to embody the role of a GOOD Community Banker,

while the Evening Wear segment allowed candidates to exhibit their elegance and confidence. The crowning moment of the event was the Question and Answer Round, an engaging segment where participants articulated their thoughts and social advocacies, adding depth to their quest for the title of ambassador. After a rigorous and competitive selection process, Ms. Erikalyn S. Libra from the Head Office Mezannine was crowned the first GMBank GOOD Ambassador.

Her impressive performances throughout all segments garnered

accolades, as she exemplified the core values expected of an ideal GOOD Money Banker, which include Integrity, Excellence, Innovation, and Social Responsibility.

In addition to the pageant, the celebration showcased the Loyalty Award Presentation, which honored long-serving employees for their dedicated contributions to the bank. These awardees were recognized for their steadfast commitment and vital roles in furthering GMBank’s mission, reflecting the institution’s appreciation for its workforce. This year-end not only celebrated the accomplishments of GMBank™ over the past year but also initiated a cherished new tradition aimed at fostering unity, boosting morale, and recognizing the hard work of all its members across every level of the organization.
