3 GM Officers graduate from GMBank’s Training and Professional Development Program

With the goal of encouraging employees and officers to pursue higher education for their professional development, and assist them to function more effectively in their present positions by exposing them to the latest concepts, information and techniques and developing their skills, the management has implemented a scholarship program in 2018.

Ms. Chona Y. Co, current Chief Compliance Officer and Head of the Compliance and Asset Management Group, graduated last year, 2022, at the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija with a degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA) making her the first to complete the program.

Meanwhile this June 2023, Mr. Bonifacio F. Talampas, Jr., current Head of Information Technology Department graduated with a degree in Professional Science Master’s in Cybersecurity at the Holy Angel University (HAU) in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Shortly after, Mr. Rolando C. Iniwan, Jr., current Head of Social Media and Corporate Communications Unit, finishes his degree in Master of Management (MM) at the University of the Philippines Baguio last July 2023.

The management celebrates these achievements as not only it emphasizes on the individual capacities of bank officers, but also highlights the importance of education to contribute more to the growth of the bank in the future years.
